Original choreography was developed by luciana de jesus after an initial project pitch, then text was created as a direct response to her performance - morphing the project both in scope and content.
This project utilizes over 20 handmade ink and acrylic text prints, assembled in Hillman Library’s Text and ConText Lab.
Vellum also utilizes a sculpture created during summer 2023 as part of broader investigation for this project. This research was supported by the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences' Summer Undergraduate Research Award.
